We've updated our reports page with several new features and a faster load time for each report. All of the orders, event, customer, membership, financial, and timecard reports are present with a new look and additional customization. These reports retrieve information much faster than their older variants, often showing new orders in real time if they meet the report's criteria.
Note: The legacy versions of several reports can be accessed through the Legacy Reports button at the bottom of the report sidebar. The information contained within both versions of the reports is the same.
Reports Dashboard
The new reports dashboard contains links to all of the available reports in the software. You can star your favorite reports to pin them to the top of the page for easier access in the future. When a report is selected, a sidebar will open with the same list of reports, allowing an easy method to jump between reports as needed.
Report Filters
When selecting a report, you'll be able to set several filters prior to running the report. These filters are saved to your user account and will be automatically selected when you run this report in the future.
For most users, the company and facility options will be the same and will not have other options available. For users with access to multiple facilities, you can pick and choose which facilities will appear in the report you are running. Information from all of the selected facilities will appear on the report.
The reporting period provides several predetermined selections for the report's time frame. Month, previous month, year, and quarter periods are automatically updated as time goes on.
You can edit a report's filters by clicking on the Filters button or selecting one of the filters that appear at the top of page.
Report Columns
Each report will have several columns of information separate from the filters. You can think of the filters as settings for what information is to be retrieved, and the columns as to how that information is displayed in the report.
With the new report layout, you can toggle these columns on and off by selecting the columns button (Available after the report is ran):
Each report has several columns that can be toggled on and off. These columns are all toggled by default. The toggle configuration is saved to your user like the filter configuration, saving you time in the future.
Additionally, there is improved search functionality within the columns of each report. By clicking on the icon beside each column, you can filter additional results that meet specific criteria. For example, if you are looking for a specific order, and only remember the customer's first name, you can filter orders that contain a certain value, in this case being the customer's name.
Additionally, you can use the Search Table feature to locate specific names or dates in a report.
This field will pull information in the report relevant to whatever is provided.
Report Exports
Each report can be exported as a CSV, Excel, or PDF file. Certain reports will have additional export options such as JSON format.
In some cases, your report will have many columns (Usually due to a large amount of taxes present for your facility) that do not translate well to PDF exports. You can export/print these reports in landscape format, as opposed to the traditional portrait format. If the export looks disjointed in landscape view, try reducing the number of columns before exporting it
