Connecting Your iPP320 to a Network

Overview

This article will walk you through the steps involved in connecting an Ingenico iPP320 chip reader to a network.

Unboxing

You should receive the following when you order your iPP320:

Step 1

The first step is to connect the Ethernet end of the Network Cable to your router. This can be done directly, or through a network switch:

Step 2

After connecting the Ethernet end of the Network Cable to a router or network switch, connect the other end of the cable directly to the back of the iPP320:

Step 3

The third step will be to plug the Power Adapter into the plug on the Network Cable:

Step 4

Once everything is connected, you are ready to plug the Power Adapter into an outlet and power on the iPP320. The chip reader should now be connected to the internet and ready to be activated. You should see an activation code display on the screen:
