Overview
This article will walk you through the steps involved in setting up your Ingenico Lane/3000, connecting the chip reader to a network, and activating the chip reader so it may be used to run Party Center Pay transactions.
Unboxing
You should receive the following when you order your Lane/3000:
The Lane/3000 does not not support wireless connection or contain an internal battery. This means that the chip reader must be directly plugged into your network and a power source in order to operate.
Step 1
The first step is to connect the Ethernet end of the Network Cable to your router. This can be done directly, or through a network switch:

After connecting the Ethernet end of the Network Cable to a router or network switch, connect the other end of the cable directly to the back of the Lane/3000:

The third step is to plug the Power Adapter into the plug on the Network Cable:

Once everything is connected, you are ready to plug the Power Adapter into an outlet and power on the Lane/3000:
Step 5 (Activation)
Once your chip deader has powered on and initialized, it should display an activation code. This code will only display if the chip reader has successfully connected to the internet:
This is now the time to contact our support team. Our team will be able to connect your Lane/3000 to your Party Center Pay account with the activation code provided.
Once our team has activated your chip reader, the screen should display the triPOS logo. It should now be ready to use:
