This article will give a thorough explanation of the various aspects of the ticket order section.
Each ticket order will look something like this (Minus the red numbers):
Order Number
This is the order number in the system. When you click on the order number, a new window appears with the options to change the order status and mark it as tax exempt. It will also show the time when the order was created.
Marking an order as tax exempt is a permanent action that will prevent taxes from being applied to this order. When this is toggled on, it cannot be toggled off.
Ticket orders that are made from the calendar page or online will always enter a default status of Open. Payments and refunds can only be made on Open orders. Marking an order as Canceled is also a permanent action; doing so will immediately remove the order from your calendar.
Ticket orders can only be closed when there is no remaining balance due on their order.
Receipt
Clicking the receipt option will pull up a preview of the ticket receipt.
You will always have the option to save the receipt as a PDF file if needed. If you are using the Hardware Link and have a receipt printer hooked up, you'll be able to print the receipt as well, by selecting the print button.
Each ticketed event receipt will include a QR code. The QR code links to the source order.
Add Customer
The Add Customer button allows you to assign a customer to this order. You can create a new customer for the order, or assign an existing one. This button will be replaced with the customer name and email if a customer is already assigned to this order (This happens automatically for tickets purchased online).
Activity Log
The activity log tab shows all changes made on the order. These messages are logged with a date and the identity of who made the change, be they a user or a customer. You'll be able to view when the order was created, any edits made to the order, and who made those edits.
Add Note
This allows you to take notes for the order, or include additional messages for the customer on their invoice. Selecting this option opens a new window where you can write your note and determine whether it shows on the customer's invoice or not.
Add Ticket
The add ticket button lets you add different tickets to an existing order. Clicking this option will direct you to the calendar page where you can select new tickets to include on this order.
When you have finished your selection, click Review Tickets. This will open a new drawer where you can choose how many of each ticket should be added.
Clicking Add Tickets will add the tickets to the order.
Ticket Product
You can click on each ticket product to edit it directly. You can leave notes on the specific product, apply discounts, or override the price of the ticket.
Ticket Status
Each ticket sold will be marked as Issued. Tickets using the redemption feature can be redeemed, allowing you to keep track of which ticket holders have arrived for their event. You can redeem and un-redeem tickets by clicking the arrow beside the status. Learn more about redemption here.
Manage Tickets
Clicking the three dots beside each ticket lets you manage the ticket, remove the ticket, or apply a discount.
Selecting Manage Tickets opens a new window, allowing you to assign the ticket to a new day/time. You can also increase the quantity of tickets to be claimed by this order. Clicking save will apply these changes to the order.
Important: Tickets marked as redeemed cannot be managed. You will need to un-redeem the ticket before making any changes to it.
Selecting remove tickets will remove all of the order's tickets at this time. You'll receive another window confirming this action. If there are no tickets left on an order after this bunch is removed, the order will be removed from your ticket calendar.
Important: Tickets marked as redeemed cannot be removed. You will need to un-redeem the ticket before removing it.
Product Addons
Additional items can be added to each ticket order. Selecting this option will open a window with a list of your available products. You can mark certain items with a star to place them at the top of the list and reduce the search needed.
The quantity and price of these items can be edited as normal, by clicking on the product name.
