Tickets are sold online through a unique page web page, separate than your online party page. You can access and manage the settings for this page from the admin menu by going to the Online Settings section.
Under 'Online Ticket Settings', you can access your hosted domain- this is the unique web link that customers will use to access the online sales page for your tickets.
From this page, you can configure the timeout period for online orders, which controls how long a customer has to complete a ticket order once they add the ticket to their cart. Additionally, the low availability threshold controls when a flag is shown for events with low availability. A message will appear beside each low availability ticket with 'X Left', to incentivize ticket purchases.
Important: The hosted domain for ticket sales is separate than the hosted domain for party sales. You will need to add it to your main webpage when you are ready to go live with ticket sales.
The Online Ticket Purchase Process
The web page for your ticket sales is similar to the online booking site. Customers landing on this page will have a calendar to choose their preferred date and a list of available ticketed events. They can use the filter options at the top right of the page to look for specific parties, and/or events with a desired number of tickets available.
The Read More option shows the event description and any images in the event's gallery.
Once a user selects an event (by clicking on the time slot), a window will appear where they can add tickets for that event to their cart.
They can continue adding more tickets to their cart, or proceed to payment with the continue button.
Customers are required to sign in to an existing account or create an account to complete their purchase.
Payment can be made via credit card or a supported digital wallet, such as Apple or Google Pay.
After payment, the customer will be taken to the confirmation page where they will see their invoice. An email copy will be sent to them as well. Any software users configured in the software notifications section will receive a copy of this invoice as well.
