Sometimes, when accessing certain pages in PCS (Particularly the customers page, new POS, or the schedule page), the page will not load, and a generic error will be seen:
This is the result of third party cookies being disabled in your browser. Several portions of PCS rely on these cookies to function properly and if the cookies are not enabled, the pages won't load. Fortunately, it's a pretty simple fix. You either need to enable all third party cookies on your browser, or whitelist Party Center Software cookies.
Enabling Third Party Cookies on Google Chrome
Start by clicking on the three dots at the top right of your browser, and then selecting settings.
Select Privacy and Security, and then Third-party cookies.
Either select Allow third party cookies:
Or add an exception for PCS ([*.]partycentersoftware.com):
Once either of those is done, refresh the page on PCS and it should load properly.
Enabling Third Party Cookies on Microsoft Edge
Select the three dots at the top of your browser and select settings.
Select Cookies and site permissions, and then Manage and delete cookies and site data:
Either unblock all third-party cookies:
Or add Party Center Software as an exception ([*.]partycentersoftware.com)
Once either of those is done, refresh the page on PCS and it should load properly.
