Our proprietary credit processing method, Party Center Pay, is currently not available outside of the United States and Canada. We have integrated with Stripe Payment Processing to offer a solution for international customers who would still like to process credit card payments directly in Party Center Software.
Please refer to this article for assistance with setting up a Stripe account
Stripe Setup in Party Center Software
We offer integration with three Stripe payment methods; EMV, hosted retail, and hosted ecommerce.
EMV requires a Stripe chip reader. Hosted retail may be used for taking payments by manually typing card information, as well as for recurring billing for our memberships feature. Hosted ecommerce may be used for online party booking deposit payments, online store purchases, and payments made through the invoice payment link.
NOTE: The WisePOS E is the only chip reader we have tested for use with Stripe in Party Center Software
Our support team will set up whichever Stripe methods you choose to use in your facility. Our support team will need the following:
- Account ID
- Public Key
- Private Key
- Location ID (EMV only)
You will need some information from your Stripe portal for support to proceed.
Begin by logging into your Stripe portal and clicking on the gear icon in the upper right to access your Settings:
-
Account ID
The Settings menu should contain a link titled Business under Account Settings:
Account details may be hidden. Click View all settings to unhide:
You should then see a section displaying your account ID:
-
Public and Private Keys
Type API keys into the search bar on the settings page:
The API keys page will display your publishable (public) key, but it will not display the full secret key. The Secret key may need to be "re-rolled" to obtain it unless the customer has previously securely saved the secret key.
*Important* when you choose to "Roll key," you will generate a new secret key for the users Stripe account. This could cause issues if the account is already used. When you generate a new secret key, it is only displayed one time to the user and there is no way to view it again.
EMV Account Setup
Support will also need your location ID if they are configuring your Stripe EMV account in Party Center Software.
Please follow this guide if you have not yet created a location in your Stripe portal.
If you have already configured a location, type terminal into the search bar and click on this result:
Click on the name of your location:
You should see your location ID in the top right of the screen:
